Position   Internal Sales Representative (ISR)

Location  Wyse Technology (UK) Limited, Twyford, Berkshire, UK

The Role
This role is part of the Wyse Northern European Inside Sales Team and provides Wyse customers, prospects and partners with both proactive and reactive telephone based sales support in order to meet and exceed sales quotas.  An important aspect of this is identifying, canvassing and qualifying new business opportunities by phone. The person in this role will also support field-based Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Wyse Partner sales teams in their sales activities with prospects and existing customers.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and support the relationship between Wyse and its customers, prospects and partners.
  • Telephone based engagement with end-user customers to ensure all sales objections are overcome and to ensure that customer satisfaction levels are maintained.
  • Identify new sales leads and opportunities through outbound calling and by qualifying and following-up Wyse generated leads.  Qualify and distribute inbound enquiries  to Wyse RSM’s and Partners.
  • Assist with the partner’s communication and delivery of Wyse solutions.
  • Forecast quarterly business by sales project engagement.
  • Provide support and information to the partner’s sales teams so that the partner’s sales personnel are effective and proficient at selling Wyse solutions.
  • Provide a single point of contact for customers, prospects and partners into Wyse product management and service delivery.
  • Maintain personal sales and technical skills in Wyse products and related technologies sufficient to overcome all reasonable objections from end users during the sales cycle.
  • Ownership of problem escalation process with corporate units on behalf of the customer, prospect and partner.
  • Team with the UK Sales, Technical and Marketing personnel to ensure that the Wyse corporate, sales and technical messages are co-ordinated, consistent and appropriate.

Personal Attributes required to succeed in the role

  • Strong telephone and internet communication skills.
  • An understanding of an indirect sales models with both VAR’s and Distributors.
  • A collaborative approach to partnering in order to build solutions.
  • Customer focused and results driven.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Able to understand and analyse technical issues for resolution or escalation.
  • Able to operate under minimal supervision.

Desirable Technical Skills
A working technical knowledge of: Citrix Presentation Server, Microsoft Terminal Services,  HTTP, FTP & other technologies surrounding Thin Computing.
